As mentioned, last Friday we went hunting for Felicia and found that “Floyd’s Place” had been burned substantially. We rushed to "Bessie’ Place" (not more than a mile away) and discovered damage there as well.

The fence is gone, as is the glass and window frames.

Several weeks ago, we had 50mph+ winds for three days. There’s a bit of damage here and there from that..




The living room of the house. A fire was set in the middle of the floor and an accelerant looks like it was applied towards two walls. Hard wood floors and bases kept it from burning quickly (despite the dry conditions here). It also appears that it was caught before it could spread much.

After Bessie’s place, we circled back out around the area to find other locations. This was taken a former WW2 training airfield.

On the drive home, we found this little house in Quartz Hill, all boarded up
