Camera Issues

Well, it finally happened. My D-SLR camera broke tonight at a show. The objective mirror fell out of it's mounting brackets. I noticed it during a lens change. I still have all the parts, but I doubt I can put it back together. I either will need to use my old film SLR, borrow another D-SLR or buy one and rush one here before the weekend of the 27th.

Shit..

Wow. That really sucks. Good luck.

Artistically speaking, maybe regular film is the right thing to use for the occasion. In sepia tones.

OK, maybe I'm trying to hard to "make lemonade" here. Good luck.

My 35mm SLR camera isn't in the best shape either. Though I can shoot with it, the quality of the shots is unlikely to live up to my standards.

The mirror just ... fell out?! Man.

I wouldn't attempt to fix it until you've tried repairs on other SLR mirrors. Sorry you don't live out here anymore, or you could use my D-SLRs that I so often neglect. I send you luck and fortune to get a replacement STAT!

Bummer. May your old camera RIP, and may there be many many fine photos with what comes next.

Bummer. Good luck on finding a new one, and I hope your 35mm works better than you think it might, if you use it.
