Heh heh heh... Last month (wow didn't realize it'd been that long ago) I wrote a political rant about the hypocrisy of the minions of King George the Mad. One of the areas this even extended into was baseball and the World Baseball Classic which starts next month. Cuba was being excluded on the basis of politics and hubris. No I don’t like Fidel Castro any more than the average fellow on the street, but this was about the Cuban baseball players. Athletics and politics have long been a really bad combination even wehen well intentioned.

Thanks to the efforts of the Major League Baseball Players Union and some calmer people in DC, the Cuban team will be allowed to compete on US soil in the tourney. Sanity ebbs and flows…

PLAY BALL!

The Sony slant on this is actually written in plain English. It gives me hope that the camera and lenses will be continued to be supported in some form or manner. Quality control has always been an issue with Sony, but K-M looks like it will be producing SLR cameras and lenses under the Sony brand.
